Tipping Facilities in Manchester
Based at our six-acre recycling and materials recovery site, we welcome third-party companies to make use of our weigh and tip services. Our modern facilities are open to local councils, skip hire businesses, “man and van” operators, and other waste management providers, all of whom benefit from our advanced recycling infrastructure.
Types of Waste
Across our large-scale site, we recover, recycle, and divert a wide variety of materials from landfill. These include metals, timber, plastics, aggregates, glass, paper, cardboard, and general waste. We also handle specialised or complex waste streams, such as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), ensuring responsible and compliant disposal.
Weighing, Tipping and Processing
When your vehicle arrives at our site, it is first guided to the weighbridge where the load is accurately weighed prior to tipping. After unloading, the materials are recorded and sorted, then stockpiled in preparation for processing within our material separation facility.
Each waste stream is carefully segregated. Metals, timber, and plastics undergo initial processing before being transferred to specialist recovery and recycling partners for further treatment.
On-site, we also fully process aggregates, soils, and selected plastics, producing high-quality recycled materials that are ready for immediate re-use in new applications.
